Re-reading the same stuff over and over and over again.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04491181093609639685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1524749296488158627.post-599936053046608322008-08-09T11:48:00.000-06:002008-08-09T11:48:00.000-06:00Welcome to the Green land. It sounds as if you enjoyed Paper Towns a great deal (and so did I), so I'm sure you'll enjoy his previous two novels as well - Looking for Alaska and An Abundance of Katherines. Give them a try, plus As Simple As Snow by Gregory Galloway.<BR/><BR/>Adrienne rocks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1524749296488158627.post-56392478809283256322008-08-06T20:35:00.000-06:002008-08-06T20:35:00.000-06:00"A theme that permeats the book is that you don't ..."A theme that permeats the book is that you don't know people as well as you think you do."<BR/><BR/>I just had one of these experiences yesterday. I was visiting with a childhood friend whom I haven't seen in many years. We were very good friends when we were young and spent many hours and overnight trips at each other's homes. So I was really surprised when, after mentioning in passing how my large family struggled to make ends meet, she said, "That's funny, I never thought of your family as not having a lot of money." What?! Are we talking about the same people?! So yeah, I guess you just never really know!Carenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09818208617119348049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1524749296488158627.post-89331470134135056112008-08-06T20:26:00.000-06:002008-08-06T20:26:00.000-06:00I think it comes out in October sometime. High school is such a drama, and it seems refreshing that there's a book out there that is striking down stereotypes that always exist in high school movies and books.
